Focus

  • Data organization
  • Engineering spreadsheets
  • Documentation quality

Tools used

  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Word
  • Engineering documentation

Key objectives

  • Accurate data entry

  • Structured data organization

  • Easy-to-read spreadsheet format

  • Reliable documentation of technical information

Approach

  1. 01

    Review and verify technical information

  2. 02

    Create a structured spreadsheet format

  3. 03

    Enter equipment data accurately

  4. 04

    Organize technical parameters into categories

  5. 05

    Format the spreadsheet for readability

Project objective

The goal of this project was to organize technical equipment data and convert unstructured engineering information into a clear spreadsheet format that is ready for project documentation.

Raw data problem

Unstructured notes are difficult to analyze and are not organized for engineering documentation. Example of scattered input:

  • Transformer — ABB — 110 kV — 600 A
  • Circuit breaker — Siemens — 35 kV — 1250 A
  • Current transformer — ABB — 150/5

Organized spreadsheet example

Equipment Voltage Current Manufacturer
Transformer 110 kV 600 A ABB
Circuit breaker 35 kV 1250 A Siemens
Current transformer — 150/5 ABB

Benefits: easy to read, structured information, and ready for project documentation.

Documentation preparation

Key activities:

  • Formatting technical spreadsheets
  • Organizing engineering documentation
  • Preparing project data tables
  • Maintaining structured project records
